- "FRONT" marking on outer fan ring must point in direction of travel
- Switching temperature 76° +/- 4° C (169°+/-39° F) ambient temperature at viscous clutch

- Tightening torque depends on tools used. See VISCOUS FAN, REMOVING & INSTALLING .

- Coolant Fan Control (FC) thermo-switches -F18- and -F54-
- 25 Nm (18 ft lb)
- Switching temperatures:
1 = 1st stage:
- on at 92°-97° C (198°-207° F)
- off at 84°-91° C (183°-196° F)
2 = 2nd stage:
- on at 99°-105° C (210°-221° F)
- off at 91°-98° C (196°-208° F)
+ = Battery Positive Voltage (B+)
- 10 Nm (7 ft lb)

- To remove, remove lock carrier plate and front bumper.
