Coolant, Draining & Filling: Filling

Replace coolant.
Install thermostat with new O-ring.
- Installation position. See Thermostat Installation Position .
Install union.
- Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7 ft lb).
Install coolant hose.
Fill coolant up to upper edge of expansion tank.

Close expansion tank.
Run engine until operation temperature has been reached engine coolant temperature gauge at approx. 80° C (176° F).
Check coolant level and top up to marking if necessary.
- When engine is at operation temperature, coolant level must be somewhat above "MAX" mark.
- When engine is cold, level must lie between "MIN" and "MAX" marks.
