Coolant Temperature (With Auto-Check)

  1. Disconnect 4-wire connector from electronic thermoswitch on cylinder head coolant flange. Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal "C" of electronic thermoswitch connector. See Figure .
  2. Start engine and let idle. If indicator does not flash on and off, check indicator bulb. If bulb is okay, check wiring. If bulb and wiring are okay, replace coolant overheat/brake warning light module on back of instrument cluster.
