Coolant, Draining & Filling: Notes
NOTE:
- The cooling system is filled all year round with mixture of water and J11 V8 B anti-freeze and anti-corrosion additive. G11 V8 B and coolant additives marked "in accordance with TL VW 774 B" prevent damage due to freezing, corrosion and scale formation. In addition, they raise the boiling point of the coolant. For these reasons, the coolant system must be filled year-round with G11 V8 B anti-freeze and anti-corrosion additive.
- Due to its high boiling point, the coolant is an aid to operational efficiency when the engine is operating at full load, particularly in countries with tropical climates.
