Oil Temperature Sensor Test
Remove terminal from sending unit. Connect gauge tester VW 1301 between wire and ground. With ignition on, set gauge tester to 26. Gauge should show 338°F (170°C). Set gauge tester to 690. Gauge should show 140°F (60°C).
