Hydraulic Pressure Warning Sending Unit Test

Remove terminal leads from warning switch on brake line. Depress brake pedal about 20 times, with engine off. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance across switch terminals. Ohmmeter should read zero ohms. Start engine, let idle for about one minute and measure resistance again. Ohmmeter should have an infinite reading. If reading is not infinite, replace switch.
