Pressure Accumulator: Removal
With engine off, pump brake pedal 20 times to relieve system pressure. Disconnect pressure/damper hose from power steering pump, pressure line from servo unit and pressure line to reservoir. Remove nuts from mounting plate. Remove pressure accumulator.
CAUTION:
Drill 1/8" hole in pressure accumulator before discarding unit. Always wear safety glasses when working around high pressure system.
