Warning Indicators

Warning display lights come on when systems are not properly functioning. The following is a list of reasons why display would indicate system troubles:

• When brake fluid level display light comes on, brake fluid level is too low, hydraulic fluid level too low, or operating pressure of power brake is below 1740 psi (122 kg/cm² ).
• When engine oil display light appears, engine oil pressure is below 26 psi (1.8 kg/cm² ) at 2000 RPM, or oil pressure is below 4 psi (.28 kg/cm² ).
• When water temperature display light appears, coolant temperature is above 248°F (120°C).
• When stop light display appears, brake light is not operating because of bulb, fuse, switch or wiring.
• When brake pad warning light is displayed, pad thickness without backing plates are approximately .080" (2.0 mm).
• When headlight low beam is displayed, headlight low beam, or taillight is not operating because of bulb, fuse, switch or wiring.
• When battery is displayed, battery voltage is below 10.6 volts or above 15.6 volts.
• When windshield washer is displayed, fluid level of washer reservoir is too low to use.
• When gasoline is displayed, remaining fuel in tank is approximately 3 gallons (12L).
• When OK is displayed, there is no system failure.
