Suspension - Rear (2WD): Description

Rear suspension consists of a strut assembly, transverse rod, trailing arms and stabilizer bar. Stabilizer bar is an optional feature on most models. Rear suspension design variations are present between all models.

The coil spring and shock absorber are combined into a MacPherson strut assembly.

A transverse rod is also used, and mounts diagonally in front of the axle beam.
