Suspension - Rear (2WD): Description
Rear suspension consists of a strut assembly, transverse rod, trailing arms and stabilizer bar. Stabilizer bar is an optional feature on most models. Rear suspension design variations are present between all models.
The strut assembly is mounted between the axle assembly and the rear wheelwell boby panel. See Fig 1. Transverse rod mounts behind the axle beam and body to reduce vehicle side sway.
