Wheel Bearing

  1. Tighten wheel bearing adjusting nut while turning wheel. Nut should be tightened firmly enough to seat bearings while rotating wheel so bearings do not cock or jam.
  2. Back off adjusting nut until thrust washer can be moved slightly using screwdriver and no more than finger pressure. DO NOT pry or twist screwdriver in effort to move washer. When bearings are properly adjusted, install lock nut. Install grease cap.
