Disc Brakes
- Raise vehicle and support so that rear wheels rotate freely. Release parking brake lever. Check and adjust basic setting of rear brakes as necessary. Tighten adjusting nut on cable adjusting rod until both brake levers on rear calipers are just off stops.
- Loosen adjusting nut 2 turns. Using screwdriver, push caliper lever against stop on both rear calipers. If lever of opposite side caliper is pulled off stop, cable is too tight. Loosen cable and repeat adjustment procedure until opposite lever remains on stop. See Fig 1
