4000 & 5000 Models

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Firmly depress brake pedal once. Set parking brake lever at 3rd notch (2nd on 4000) from fully released position.
  2. Tighten adjusting nut at equalizer until both wheels can just be turned by hand. Release parking brake lever, and ensure both wheels rotate freely.
