Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the ignition coil. Refer to COIL, IGNITION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Obtain a 14 mm spark plug socket with an outside diameter no greater than 18.7 mm (0.736 in.).

4. Remove the spark plug (1) from the cylinder head.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the integrity of the spark plug and gap.

2. Using a suitable spark plug tool (1), install the spark plug to the cylinder head.
3. Install the ignition coil. Refer to COIL, IGNITION, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
