Removal And Installation: Right

REMOVAL

NOTE:

If the throttle body needs to be replaced, connect the diagnostic equipment to the vehicle diagnosis socket, go to "Powertrain Control Module (PCM)" in the "Miscellaneous Functions" menu and start the "Adaptive Parameters Reset" procedure and the "Throttle body learning" procedure.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the right side throttle body air inlet hose. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Disconnect the throttle body wire harness connector (1).
Remove the screws (2a) and remove throttle body (2b).

Remove the O-ring from the intake manifold.

INSTALLATION

Place a NEW O-ring on the intake manifold.
Place the throttle body (1a) in its housing and tighten the screws (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to appropriate service information .
Connect the wire harness connection (2) to the throttle body.
Install the right side throttle body air inlet hose. Refer to appropriate service information COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
