Right - Upstream

NOTE:

If the oxygen sensor needs to be replaced, connect the diagnostic equipment to the vehicle, go to "Powertrain Control Module (PCM)" in the "Miscellaneous Functions" menu and start the "Adaptive Parameters Reset" procedure.

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the right catalytic converter. Refer to CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Remove the front right oxygen sensor (1) from the catalytic converter.

INSTALLATION

  1. Place the front right oxygen sensor to the catalytic converter in its housing and tighten it to the proper torque specification. Refer to appropriate service information .
  2. Install the right catalytic converter. Refer to CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
