Removal And Installation - Automatic Transmission

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the transmission oil cooler. Refer to COOLER, TRANSMISSION OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Disconnect the wire harness connection (1) for the engine crankshaft position sensor.
3. Remove the screw (2a) and remove the crankshaft position sensor (2b) complete with O-ring (2c).

INSTALLATION

1. Install the crankshaft position sensor (1a), complete with new O-ring, back in its housing and tighten the screw (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to appropriate service information .
2. Connect the wire harness connection (2) to the crankshaft position sensor.
3. Install the transmission oil cooler. Refer to COOLER, TRANSMISSION OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
