Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Detach the wire harness connector (1) for the accelerator pedal.

Remove the screw (1a) and remove the accelerator pedal with built-in potentiometer (1b).

INSTALLATION

Place the accelerator pedal in its housing, taking care to engage the blocks (1a) with the studs (1b) on the body.

Tighten the accelerator pedal retaining screw (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to appropriate service information .
Connect the accelerator pedal wire harness connector.
Connect the negative battery cable.
