High Pressure Injector Seal Replacement

- Using a suitable tool, remove the holding ring (1). Use caution not to damage the seal seat on the injector.
- Insert the new holding ring (1a) on the tool cone (1b) from the (special tool #2025500140, Kit, Fuel Injector) mounted on the injector terminal.
- Using the tool (2a) from the (special tool #2025500140, Kit, Fuel Injector), install the holding ring in the housing (2b).
- Verify that the new holding ring (1a) is correctly fitted into the injector with the 8 mm diameter calibration tool (1b) from the (special tool #2025500140, Kit, Fuel Injector). The tool has to run freely without skipping.
- Verify that the new holding ring (1a) is correctly fitted into the injector with the 7.8 mm diameter calibration tool (1b) from the (special tool #2025500140, Kit, Fuel Injector). The tool has to run freely without skipping.
- Using a suitable tool, remove the anti-extrusion ring (1). Take caution not to damage the seat on the injector.
- Install the new anti-extrusion ring (1) on the injector. Use caution to prevent the ring from distorting.
- Install a new O-ring (1a) and retaining clip (1b).
