Right Intake Manifold Fuel Rail

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the fuel crossover tube, Refer to appropriate service information.
3. Remove the low pressure tube from pressure pump to the fuel rail, left cylinder head, refer to appropriate service information.

4. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
5. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1) for the injectors.

6. Remove the screws (1a) and the right fuel rail (1b) with the fuel injectors.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the right fuel rail (1a) complete with injectors and tighten the screws (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to appropriate service information .
2. Connect the fuel injectors wire harness connections.
3. Connect the fuel pressure sensor wire harness connector.
4. Install the low pressure tube from pressure pump to the fuel rail, left cylinder head, refer to appropriate service information
5. Install the fuel crossover tube. Refer to LINES, FUEL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. If the fuel rail or the injectors are replaced, connect the diagnosis equipment to the vehicle diagnosis socket, go to "Powertrain Control Module (PCM)" in the "Miscellaneous Functions" menu and start the following procedures: fuel feed system component replacement; adaptive parameter reset.
