Fuel Supply Pressure Test

- Perform the fuel system pressure release procedure. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM/FUEL DELIVERY/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the air cleaner body. Refer to
BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Disconnect the quick coupling (1) for the low pressure fuel supply pipe and connect the fuel system pressure test kit.
- Connect the connector pipe to the low pressure fuel pipe (2) disconnected previously.
- Connect the fuel system pressure gauge (1).
- Start the engine, let it run and check that the pressure is 87 PSI +/- 15 PSI.NOTE:
Before disconnecting the tools, relieve the fuel system pressure as described at the beginning of the procedure.
