Left Turbocharger Coolant Outlet Tube

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the left turbocharger/exhaust manifold assembly. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the bolts (1a) and the heat shield (1b).

  4. Remove the bolt (1a) and the engine coolant pipe to the left turbocharger (1b), complete with O-ring (1c).

INSTALLATION 

  1. Using NEW  O-rings, install the engine coolant pipe to the left turbocharger (1a), and tighten the bolt (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the heat shield and securely tighten the bolts.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
