Left Turbocharger Coolant Connection Sleeve

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the charge air water cooler support bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Remove the bolt (1a), the lock flange (1b) and disconnect the engine coolant outlet tube from left turbocharger (1c).

3. Remove the banjo bolt (1a) securing the left coolant tube (1b), coolant pump side.

4. Remove the bolt (1a) and the engine coolant outlet tube from left turbocharger (1b), complete with O-ring (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. Using a NEW  O-ring, install the engine coolant outlet tube from left turbocharger in its housing.
2. Install the connector lock flange in its housing and securely tighten the bolt.

3. Using NEW  copper gaskets install the engine coolant outlet tube (1a) and tighten the banjo bolt (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
4. Install the bolt securing the intermediate bracket of the engine coolant outlet tube from the left turbocharger and securely tighten the bolt.
5. Install the charge air water cooler support bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
