Left Side Oil Supply Line

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the left turbocharger/exhaust manifold assembly heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Remove the bolt (1a) and disconnect the oil supply pipe to the turbocharger (1b).

4. Remove the intermediate bolt (1), securing the oil supply pipe to the turbocharger.

5. Remove the bolt (1a), remove the forked flange (1b) and disconnect the turbocharger water supply and return pipes (1c), complete with O-rings.

6. Remove the bolt (1a) and the left turbocharger oil delivery line (1b), complete with O-rings (1c).

INSTALLATION

1. Using NEW  O-rings, install the engine oil line (1a) to the left turbocharger and tighten the bolt (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

2. Connect the turbocharger coolant supply and return lines (1a), complete with O-rings, install the forked flange (1b) and securely tighten the bolts (1c).

3. Install and securely tighten the intermediate bolt (1), securing the oil supply pipe to the turbocharger.

4. Using NEW  O-rings, install the engine oil supply line (1b) to crankcase and tighten the bolt (1a) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
5. Install the left turbocharger/exhaust manifold assembly heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
