Right Air Tube Between Turbocharger And Charge Air Water Cooler

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Open the band (1a) and disconnect the air outlet pipe from the turbocharger (1b), on the heat exchanger side.
- Open the band (1a) and disconnect the supercharger air bypass sleeve from the solenoid valve to the right pipe (1b).
- Remove the screws (1a) and the pipe (1b), complete with seal.
- Disconnect the right supercharger air bypass solenoid valve wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the air outlet pipe from the right turbocharger (1a), complete with seal (1b).
- If necessary, undo the screws (1a) and remove the right turbocharger air by-pass solenoid valve (1b) complete with O-ring.
- If necessary, loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the air supply sleeve between the turbocharger and right heat exchanger (1b).
INSTALLATION
- Using a NEW
gasket (1b), position the outlet pipe from the right turbocharger (1a).
- Connect the right supercharger air bypass solenoid wire harness connector (1).
- Securely tighten the screws (1a) for the right outlet pipe (1b).
- Connect the supercharger air bypass hose (1b) from the solenoid valve to the right pipe (1a) in position and tighten the band (1b).
- Refit the turbocharger air outlet pipe (1a) in position on the heat exchanger side and tighten the band (1b).
- Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
