Left Charge Air Water Cooler

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right charge air water cooler. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Remove the bolt (1) and lower nut (1) securing the right charge air water cooler to the frame.

4. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the multi-way degassing hose of the charging air cooling system from the left charging air-water cooler and release the intermediate retaining clip (1b).
5. Disconnect the water inlet hose quick connector (2) to the right charger air-water cooler.
6. Disconnect the air temperature/pressure sensor wire harness connector (3a).
7. Remove the upper bolts (3b) securing the right charger air water cooler to the support frame.
8. Disconnect the right charger air water cooler from engine cooling hose.

9. Remove the left charger air water cooler (1).

INSTALLATION

1. Install the left charge air water cooler (1) in position.

2. Connect the air temperature/pressure sensor wire harness connector (1a).
3. Install the upper screw (1b) securing the right charge air-water cooler to the support frame and securely tighten.
4. Connect the water inlet hose quick connector (2) to the right charger air-water cooler.
5. Connect the multi-way degassing hose for the charging air cooling system to the left charging air-water cooler and secure the intermediate retaining clip (3a) and close the band (3b).

6. Connect the water cooling outlet quick (1) connection to the left charger air-water cooler.
7. Install the bolt (2) and nut (2) securing the left charger air water cooler to the support frame and securely tighten.
8. Install the right charge air water cooler. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
9. Connect the negative battery cable.
