Right Side

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
3. Remove the air cleaner body and ducts. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Remove the front intake air tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

5. Disconnect the throttle body actuator wire harness connector (1).

6. Open the clip (1a) and disconnect the fuel vapor inlet pipe quick connector (1b).

7. Remove the bolt (1a) and the air temperature/pressure sensor (1b) and position aside.

8. Remove the low pressure fuel pipe bolt (1).
9. Remove the connector holder bracket bolts (2).

10. Remove the bolts (1a) and the right intake manifold (1b).
11. Remove the gasket.
12. If necessary, remove the throttle body. Refer to THROTTLE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

INSTALLATION 

1. If removed, install the throttle body. Refer to THROTTLE BODY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Using a NEW  gasket, install the right intake manifold (1b) onto the locating pins and hand tighten the bolts (1a).

3. Using the sequence shown in illustration, tighten the bolts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

4. Install the connector holder bracket bolts (2) and securely tighten.
5. Install the low pressure fuel pipe bolt (1) and securely tighten.

6. Install the air temperature/pressure sensor (1b) and securely tighten the bolt (1a).

7. Connect the fuel vapor inlet pipe quick connector (1b) and close the retaining clip (1a).

8. Connect the throttle body actuator wire harness connector (1).
9. Install the front intake air tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
10. Install the air cleaner body and ducts. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
11. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
12. Connect the negative battery cable.
