Right Turbocharger Lubrication Deactivation Circuit Solenoid Valve

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the right air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Open the clip (1a) and position aside the fuel vapor pipe (1b).

  4. Disconnect the right turbocharger lubrication deactivation circuit solenoid valve wire harness connector (1).
  5. Remove the bolt (2a) and position aside the bracket (2b).

  6. Remove the right turbocharger lubrication deactivation circuit solenoid valve (1a), complete with O-rings (1b).

INSTALLATION

  1. Using a NEW  O-rings, install the right turbocharger lubrication deactivation circuit solenoid valve and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the solenoid valve wiring support bracket in its housing and securely tighten the bolt.
  3. Connect the right turbocharger lubrication deactivation circuit solenoid valve wire harness connector.
  4. Install the fuel vapor pipe in its housing and tighten the respective clip.
  5. Install the right air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
