Deactivation Solenoid Valve Cylinders 2-3 Intake Side

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Disconnect the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve wire harness connector, intake side (1a). Remove the bolts (1b) and the solenoid valve flange (1c).

4. Using a suitable tool (1a), remove the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve, intake side (1b), complete with O-rings (1c).

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve, intake side, back in its housing, complete with O-rings.
2. Install the solenoid valve flange and securely tighten the bolts.
3. Connect the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve wire harness connector, intake side.
4. Install the right air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
