Deactivation Solenoid Valve Cylinders 2-3 Exhaust Side

REMOVAL

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Remove the right air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Disconnect the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve wire harness connector, exhaust side (1a). Remove the bolt (1b) and the solenoid valve flange (1c).

Using a suitable tool (1a), remove the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve, exhaust side (1b), complete with O-rings (1c).

INSTALLATION

Install the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve, exhaust side, back in its housing, complete with O-rings.
Install the solenoid valve flange and securely tighten the bolts.
Connect the cylinder 2-3 deactivation solenoid valve, exhaust side wire harness connector.
Install the right air cleaner outlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Connect the negative battery cable.
