Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the engine oil pump. Refer to PUMP, ENGINE OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Remove the bolts (1a) and the reed valve (1b).
  3. Proceed in the same way for the remaining reed valves.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Tap the threaded holes for the reed valve bolts.

  2. Install the reed valve (1a) and tighten the NEW  bolts (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Proceed in the same way for the remaining reed valves.
  4. Install the engine oil pump. Refer to PUMP, ENGINE OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
