Oil Pump Bearing

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the oil pump drive chain. Refer to CHAIN AND SPROCKETS, TIMING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Remove the oil pump hub retaining circlip (1).

3. Use a suitable puller (1a) to remove the hub from the oil pump (1b).

4. Remove the oil pump bearing retaining circlip (1).

5. Using a suitable extractor (1a), remove the bearing from the oil pump (1b).

INSTALLATION

1. Use a bearing driver (1) to insert the oil pump bearing.

2. Install the retaining circlip (1) for the oil pump bearing.

3. Install the oil pump hub (1a) using a suitable hammer (1b).

4. Install the retaining circlip for the oil pump hub.
5. Install the oil pump drive chain. Refer to CHAIN AND SPROCKETS, TIMING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
