Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the right side turbocharger heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Remove the engine oil dipstick.
  3. Remove the bolt (1) securing the engine oil dipstick tube.

  4. Disengage the retaining clip (1) and remove the front differential vent tube.
  5. Remove the engine oil dipstick tube (2a) with O-rings (2b).

INSTALLATION

  1. Using NEW  O-rings, install the dipstick tube (1).
  2. Secure the retaining clip (2) for the front differential vent tube.

  3. Securely tighten the oil dipstick tube retaining bolt (1).
  4. Install the engine oil dipstick.
  5. Install the right side turbocharger heat shield. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
