Vacuum Reservoir

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  2. Remove the bolts (1a) and release the vacuum reservoir (1b) from the support bracket.

  3. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the vacuum supply pipe (1b) hose from the three-way connector.
  4. Disconnect the air vacuum pipe (2a) and remove the vacuum reservoir (2b).

  5. If necessary, remove the nuts (1a) and the vacuum tank mounting bracket (1b).

INSTALLATION 

  1. If removed, install the vacuum tank mounting bracket and securely tighten the nuts.
  2. Place the vacuum reservoir in its housing and tighten the fixing screws to the support bracket.
  3. Connect the vacuum air pipe from the vacuum reservoir.
  4. Connect the vacuum reservoir supply pipe from the three-way connector and close the band.
  5. Install the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
