Vacuum Pump

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the charge air water cooler bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Open the clip (1a) and disconnect the quick connector for the fuel vapor inlet pipe to the right intake manifold (1b).

3. Disconnect the quick connector (1a), remove the bolts (1b) and the vacuum pump (1c).

4. Remove the gasket (1).

INSTALLATION 

1. Clean the gasket sealing surface.
2. Using a NEW  gasket, install the vacuum pump and securely tighten the bolts and connect the quick connector.
3. Connect the quick connector of the fuel vapor supply pipe to the intake manifold and close the retaining clip.
4. Install the charge air water cooler bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
