Left Turbocharger Air Inlet Tube

REMOVAL 

  1. Remove the left front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the evaporative emission purge solenoid. Refer to SOLENOID, EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS PURGE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  4. Remove the air cleaner outer left upper tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the right air cleaner inlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  6. Loosen the band of the air inlet pipe to the left turbocharger, turbocharger side.

  7. Loosen the band (1a) and disconnect the turbocharger air by-pass sleeve (1b).

  8. Disconnect the quick coupling (1) for the fuel vapor supply pipe from the crossover valve to the turbocharger inlet.

  9. Remove the left turbocharger air inlet pipe (1), disengaging the pin from the elastic insert.

INSTALLATION 

  1. Install the air inlet pipe to the left turbocharger, engaging the pin to the elastic insert.
  2. Connect the quick coupling for the fuel vapor supply pipe from the crossover valve to the turbocharger inlet.
  3. Connect the turbocharger air by-pass sleeve and tighten the band.
  4. Tighten the fixing band of the air inlet pipe to the left turbocharger, turbocharger side.
  5. Install the right air cleaner inlet tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Install the air cleaner outer left upper tube. Refer to BODY, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the evaporative emission purge solenoid. Refer to SOLENOID, EVAPORATIVE EMISSIONS PURGE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the left front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
