Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Remove the radiator air inlet upper duct. Refer to
DUCT, RADIATOR AIR INLET, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Remove the transmission cooler tube bolts (1a) and the cooler tubes (1b) from the transmission cooler.
- Disconnect the transmission oil cooler clips (1a) from brackets and remove the transmission oil cooler assembly (1b).
- Disconnect the clips (1a) to release and remove the transmission cooler (1b) from the support (1c).
INSTALLATION
- Position the transmission oil cooler (1b) in place on the support (1c) and connect the clips (1a) to attach the transmission oil cooler to the support.
- Position the transmission oil cooler assembly (1b) in place in the vehicle and connect the transmission oil cooler assembly clips (1a) to the radiator.
- Position the transmission oil cooler tubes (1b) in place and install the transmission oil cooler tube bolts (1a) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the radiator air inlet upper duct. Refer to DUCT, RADIATOR AIR INLET, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Fill the transmission with the specified transmission fluid. Refer to appropriate diagnostic information .
