Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

Remove the radiator air inlet upper duct. Refer to DUCT, RADIATOR AIR INLET, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Remove the transmission cooler tube bolts (1a) and the cooler tubes (1b) from the transmission cooler.

Disconnect the transmission oil cooler clips (1a) from brackets and remove the transmission oil cooler assembly (1b).

Disconnect the clips (1a) to release and remove the transmission cooler (1b) from the support (1c).

INSTALLATION

Position the transmission oil cooler (1b) in place on the support (1c) and connect the clips (1a) to attach the transmission oil cooler to the support.

Position the transmission oil cooler assembly (1b) in place in the vehicle and connect the transmission oil cooler assembly clips (1a) to the radiator.

Position the transmission oil cooler tubes (1b) in place and install the transmission oil cooler tube bolts (1a) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the radiator air inlet upper duct. Refer to DUCT, RADIATOR AIR INLET, UPPER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Fill the transmission with the specified transmission fluid. Refer to appropriate diagnostic information .
