Connector From Engine Crankcase To Gearbox Oil Heat EXCHANGER Water Supply Pipe

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove the primary Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the right turbocharger exhaust gas outlet pipe. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Drain the High Temperature (HT) cooling system. Refer to
COOLING/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Loosen the heater core air bleed (1).
- Remove the two fasteners and the right side air intake duct.
- Disengage the retaining pin securing the right side air intake duct.
- Loosen the HT primary radiator air bleed (1).
- Loosen the HT secondary radiator air bleed (1).
- Remove the coolant hose (2) from the transmission heat exchanger and discard clamp.
- Loosen the band clamp (1a) and remove the coolant hose (1b).
- Remove the bolts (1a) and the water supply pipe (1b) with O-ring (1c).
INSTALLATION
- Install the water supply pipe connector from engine crankcase to gearbox oil heat exchanger (1a) and tighten the bolts (1b) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the hose (1a) and tighten the NEW
band clamp (1b).
- Install the coolant hose (2) to the transmission heat exchanger and tighten the NEW clamp.
- Fill the High Temperature (HT) cooling system. Refer to COOLING/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Engage the retaining pin securing the right side air intake duct.
- Install the two fasteners and the right side air intake duct.
- Install the right turbocharger exhaust gas outlet pipe. Refer to TURBOCHARGER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Install the primary Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
