Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) and support bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the bolt (1a) and the idler pulley (1b) with the conical washer (1c).

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the idler pulley (1a) with the conical washer (1b) and tighten the bolt (1c) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) and support bracket. Refer to COOLER AND HOSES, CHARGE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
