Heat Shield For Intermediate Exhaust Muffler

REMOVAL

Remove the right rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Remove the left rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

Remove the bolts (1a) fixing the rear part (1b) of the additional wheel arch.
Using the (special tool #C-4829A, Remover, Trim) tool, disengage the retaining buttons with center pin (2a).
Unseat the rear part (1b) of the additional wheel arch.

Working in the additional wheel arch, remove the nuts (1a) and the heat shield (1b).

INSTALLATION

Check that the heat shield is not damaged.
Position the heat shield and securely tighten the nuts.
Position the additional rear wheel arch and engage the retaining buttons with center pin.
Securely tighten the bolts fixing the additional rear wheel arch to the rear bumper.
Install the left rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
Install the right rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
