Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

2. Remove and discard the front exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter nuts (1).

3. Remove the isolator mount of the front exhaust pipe flexible mounting to the body nuts (1).

4. Loosen the nut (1a), the collar (1b), and remove the exhaust pipe with flexible stretch (1c).
5. Remove the gasket.

INSTALLATION

1. Install the front exhaust pipe with flexible stretch (1a) in its housing, complete with NEW  gasket, secure the collar (1b) and tighten the nut (1c) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

2. Tighten the isolator mount of the front exhaust pipe flexible mounting to the body nuts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

3. Install the NEW  nuts (1) securing the exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
4. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or BELLY PAN, SIDE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
