Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

2. Using a trim stick or equivalent tool, extract the switch unit (1a) by releasing all of the retainers (1b).
3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (2) from the back of the switch.
4. Remove the switch unit from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the switch unit and the connector pin integrity.

2. Connect the wire harness connector to the back of the switch unit.
3. Using firm even pressure, install the switch unit to the dashboard trim panel making certain all of the retainers are engaged.
4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
