Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

2. Insert a suitable tool in the license plate lamp slot (1a) and push the license plate lamp to the left to disengage its retainer (1c), then pull out the license plate lamp by disengaging its flexible retainer (1d).
3. Disconnect the lamp wire harness connector (2a).
4. Remove the license plate lamp (1b).

INSTALLATION 

1. Inspect the lamp for damage.

2. Connect the wire harness connector to the license plate lamp connector (1a).
3. Install the license plate lamp (1b) allowing the retainers (2a) to engage.
4. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
