Seat Belt Tensioner
During a collision, the seat belt is instantly pulled so as to secure the occupant to his seat, thereby improving the seat belt function. This seat belt pretensioner secures the occupant to his seat with the seat belt, and it activates by it self during a low-speed collision. During low to medium speed collision to a high-speed collision, the SRS airbag operates with the seat belt pretensioner to secure the restraining effect of the occupant and the safety performance. If the seat belt is not fastened, the seat belt pretensioner will not be activated.
