Collision into rigid wall

When the vehicle collides head-on a rigid thick concrete wall, the SRS airbag deploys at the vehicle speed of about 20 to 30 km/h.

Head-on collision between vehicles

• In case of a head-on collision between vehicles, the SRS airbag deploys at the speed of about 20 to 30 km/h for both vehicles.
• In case of a head-on collision between a running vehicle and a parked one, the SRS airbag deploys at twice the speed (about 40 to 60 km/h) on both sides. The deployment condition varies depending on the vehicles in question and the collision state such as angle.
