Front Passenger's Weight Sensor (KA, Kc Models) (2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022): Removal

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Battery Terminal - Disconnect
   NOTE: Wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.
2. Front Passenger's Seat - Remove
3. Front Seat-Back Cover/Pad - Remove
4. Front Seat Cushion Cover/Pad - Remove
5. Front Seat Recline Inner Cover/Center Inner Cover - Remove
6. Front Seat Slide Motor Cover - Remove (with power seat)

   1. Remove the slide motor cover (A). 2. Disconnect the connector (B), then remove the clip (C).

7. Front Passenger's Seat Rail/Front Passenger's Weight Sensors - Remove

   1. Disconnect the connectors (A). 2. Remove the clips (B). 3. Without power seat and with seat heater: Disconnect the connector (C).

   4. Remove the bolts (A). 5. Release the seat cushion springs (B) from the hooks (C), then remove the seat cushion frame (D).

   6. Remove the nuts (A), then remove the front passenger's seat rail/front passenger's weight sensors as an assembly (B).
