Front Impact Sensor (2013 2014 2015): Removal

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Battery Terminal - Disconnect

   1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure , then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

2. Front Bumper - Remove

   1. Remove the front bumper .

3. Front Impact Sensor - Remove

   1. Disconnect the front impact sensor connector (A) on the engine compartment wire harness. 2. Remove the TORX bolts (B) using a TORX T30 bit, then remove the front impact sensor (C).
