Front Impact Sensor (2013 2014 2015): Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Front Impact Sensor - Install

   1. Install the front impact sensor (A) with the new TORX bolts (B), using a TORX T30 bit. 2. Connect the front impact sensor connector (C) on the engine compartment wire harness.

2. Battery Terminal - Connect

   1. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure .

3. DTC - Clear

   1. Clear any DTCs with the HDS.

4. SRS Operation - Confirm

   1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, and check that the SRS indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.

5. Front Bumper - Install

   1. Install the front bumper .
