Brake Booster (R20A5) (2013 2014 2015): Removal

Brake Booster - Remove

1. Remove the air cleaner bracket (A).

2. Disconnect the wire harness connector (A) by pulling the lock (B), and pulling down the lever (C).

3. Disconnect the wire harness connector (D).

4. Remove the clip (E).

5. Remove the wire harness connectors (F).

6. Remove the harness bracket (G).

7. Disconnect the brake booster vacuum hose (A) from the brake booster (B).

8. Remove the brake lines (C) from the brake line clamp (D).

9. Remove the lock pin (A).

10. Remove the clevis pin (B).

11. Remove the brake booster mounting nuts (C).

12. Remove the brake booster (A) from the engine compartment.

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the brake booster mounting surfaces and the threads on the booster studs.
Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines.
