Front Seat Rail: Removal

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Front Seat - Remove

   1. Remove the front seat .

2. Front Seat Recline Cover - Remove

   1. Remove the front seat recline cover .

3. Front Seat Center Cover - Remove

   1. Remove the front seat center cover .

4. Front Seat Belt Buckle - Remove

   1. Remove the front seat belt buckle .

5. Upper Rail Outer Cover - Remove

   1. Remove the clips (A, B), then remove the upper rail outer cover (C).

6. Upper Rail Inner Cover - Remove

   1. Remove the clip (A), then remove the upper rail inner cover (B).

7. Driver's Seat Position Sensor (USA and Canada Models) - Remove

   1. Remove the driver's seat position sensor .

8. Front Seat Rail - Remove

   1. Remove the slide motor cover (A). 2. Disconnect the slide motor connector (B), then remove the harness clip (C).

   3. Remove the bolts (A) with a TORX T30 bit, then remove the front seat rail (B).
